We’re open term-time only, and operate during school hours.
Play helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, which research has shown to be the means by which young children learn to think. Our nursery setting uses the practice guidance Early Years Foundation Stage to plan and provide a range of play activities which help children to make progress in each of the areas of learning and development. In some of these activities in our childcare, children decide how they will use the activity and, in others, an adult takes the lead in helping the children to take part in the activity. In all activities information from the practice guidance to the Early Years Foundation Stage has been used to decide what equipment to provide and how to provide it.
At Daisy Chains, we know that every family’s routine is unique and that mornings and afternoons can often feel like a juggling act. That’s why we’re trialling extended opening hours, giving you more flexibility to plan your day in a way that works best for you.
Whether you need a little extra time before work, a later pick-up, or simply more choice in how your day runs, these extended hours are designed to make life easier for busy families. We understand that family life doesn’t always fit neatly into a 9–3:30 window and we’re here to help take a bit of that pressure off.
