Daisy Chains Nursery

Meet The Team

The Daisy Chains Nursery Team

James Sutton
Manager (since April 2015)
Hello, I'm James and I am the Manager at Daisy Chains Nursery and have now been here for over six years. I have always had a passion to work with young children as I feel the early years are the most important in relation to a child's development and learning. I have been in the early years now for nearly 14years. I have been a Deputy and Manager at small and large settings and even set a nursery up one from the start creating a Forest school, where most of the time and learning happened in the natural environment, which was an incredible experience. I have since gone on to complete my BA(hons) degree in early childhood care and education and through this career I met my wife and have since had two children of my own. In my spare time I love spending time with my family creating memories, cooking, spending days out and watching crime dramas.

Toni Jones

Hi, my name is Toni and I am the Deputy Manager at Daisy Chains nursery, my journey began in 2009 as a volunteer, this then led to me being employed full time as a nursery assistant. In 2013 I became a qualified member of the team gaining my early years diploma. I am currently the admissions co-ordinator and early years framework lead. My passion is healthy eating for young children and orchestrating our in house 'Daisy Kickers' programme promoting fitness and wellbeing in the early years. I have two children and a 2yr old Pug who loves to visit the children at Daisy Chains.
Chloe Sharp
Level 5 Practitioner
Hello, my name is Chloe (known as Co-Co), and I am a level 5 practitioner at Daisy Chains Nursery. I have always wanted to go into childcare as I have grown up with lots of little ones around me and have always enjoyed helping out at a young age. I went on to do my level three qualification and enjoyed the placement so much I knew I wanted to pursue my career further. I find the role extremely rewarding. Due to currently undertaking my childhood studies BA(hons) degree my ethos is to embed teaching and learning in the environment to ensure children are challenged and learn new skills to celebrate working collaboratively with them.
